Let's Get Sh*t Done! Together

Updated: Aug 9, 2022

Do you have too many balls in the air and feel like you’re spiraling out of control?

Do you jump from project to project until you’ve started 10 and finished none?

Do you stare at the blank page, wondering how to start?

Yeah, me too. So I have created free Virtual Work Sessions based on the pomodoro technique, a proven time management technique that cuts through the distraction and jumpstarts productivity.

We are taught to value multi-tasking. The thing is, multi-tasking is a myth. Our brains are not capable of doing more than one thing at a given time. At the best of times, we can hold up to 7 thoughts in our short term memory…but we still cannot think them all at the same time! When we try to hold onto multiple thoughts, we stress our brains beyond capacity, productivity plummets and we’re left wondering what is wrong with us.

Nothing is wrong with you. But it is time to work smarter, not harder.

Virtual Work Sessions are designed to work with your biology to increase productivity.

These are 50-minute blocks where we will ground ourselves to get in the space of being focused. We’ll then set an intention and well, get to work.

We’ll go through two 20 minutes work sessions, broken up by a short break designed to bust through our limiting patterns and get the blood pumping. Refreshed and invigorated, we’ll dive into the next work session feeling even more focused and productive.

Our time will wrap up by checking in on our intention and identifying any Actions we’d like to commit to in regards to our project or intention over the coming days.

If you're ready to get your productivity on, all you have to do is:

  1. Join the free Thrivers Community,

  2. then RSVP to our Virtual Work Sessions, held Thursdays at 11 am PST / 2 pm EST.

Arrive a minute or two early and we'll start right on time and run for 50 minutes.

*Folks arriving more than 5 minutes after the hour will not be admitted to maintain the focused integrity.

To optimize your productivity, do not come to work on a 'project' but rather a piece of a project.

For example, if you're project is writing a blog post, you might commit our time together to outlining it or researching for it.

If you think you might complete your piece of a project, it's fine to have the next piece waiting in the wings. The point though, is to declutter your brain by letting go of that next piece that you may or may not get to in this session. Just focus on the one piece of the project in front of you and you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish!
