A Proper Introduction

Welcome!

I am Jani Martinius, and I am new to A Beautiful Life Magazine. I would like to officially introduce myself and tell you the quickie-story of how I got here.

I am a certified Martha Beck Wayfinder Life Coach, and accredited with the International Coaching Federation (ACC level), and also Red Seal Carpenter. I build people’s dreams, and I support my clients in building their dream lives.

As a Life Coach, I work with women who base their self worth on their productivity and never-ending to do list. I support them in making decisions that are best for them so they can (re-) discover what brings them joy and freedom.

We don’t blindly set goals, and fail at achieve them. We turn inward, to the inherent knowledge that people have about the meaning and purpose of their life. We rediscover what your True Nature is all about, and then create tiny Turtle Steps towards a life that you love wholeheartedly, and that is aligned with your body, mind, soul and spirit.

What’s the story?

I grew up in Germany in a family of teachers, and I always thought I had my career / purpose all figured out. To do the same of course – to become a teacher – which would have been a wonderful career. And then everything changed. During my travels in Vancouver, BC I met and rose in love with my beautiful wife Heather, and stayed instead of going back to Germany. After accidentally falling into Carpentry (I am now a Real Seal carpenter), I knew that this career was not something I wanted to do forever, and definitely not my calling in life.

I love to connect people, teach & guide others, watch them grow, but just how could I do that? Teaching High School had come up several times but it never gave me that excited full on “HECK YEAH I want to do that” feeling.

I was getting frustrated with this “stuck” feeling of not knowing what to do, so I threw myself into doing lots of self development work, and you may have guessed it – Life Coaching was the light at the end of the tunnel and kept popping up for me! Now this gives me the “HECK YEAH THIS FEELS AMAZING I TOTALLY WANT TO DO THAT” feeling!

I am SO excited to be on this journey, to share the tools I have learned with you, and

to help you find your way back to your true nature and what you are supposed to do in life. To overcome obstacles, struggles and limiting beliefs to free yourself to live the fabulous life you are meant to live.

It is an honour to meet you, and to guide you on your journey.
